We are looking for a Collections Analyst – Operations to operationalize our late-stage collections strategy through automation and analytics. You will translate strategy decisions into system workflows, monitor performance through KPIs, and drive continuous improvements through data-driven adjustments—reducing manual interventions and increasing process consistency.
Responsibilities:
Strategy Implementation & Workflow Automation
You will configure and maintain automated collections workflows in our tools (segmentation rules, triggers, cadences, and channel routing across email/SMS/phone). You will convert recurring manual actions into standardized rules/workflows to reduce ad-hoc execution and ensure full workflow coverage.
Performance Analytics & KPI Monitoring
You will monitor and analyze performance by segment (e.g., DPD bands, product type, channel exposure) and identify drivers of cash-in/cure and operational leakage. You will define and maintain KPI logic and metric definitions to ensure consistent reporting and decision-making. You will automate recurring KPI packs and alerts (in partnership with BI where relevant) to minimize manual reporting.
Continuous Improvement & Testing
You will execute controlled pilots (A/B or champion-challenger where possible) on cadence, prioritization, message timing, and channel mix. You will evaluate outcomes, document results, and recommend what to scale, revert, or refine.
Operational Support & Collaboration
You will troubleshoot workflow issues (mis-segmentation, broken triggers, unexpected contact volumes) and coordinate fixes with Ops/IT as needed. You will provide limited backup support for process questions and incident triage when the Team Leader is unavailable (within defined authority limits). You will collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth rollouts of approved changes.
Skills & Experience:
- 3+ Years’ Experience in Analytics, Operations Analytics, Credit Operations, or a similar performance-driven environment
- Strong Analytical Skills (segmentation, cohort/funnel analysis, root-cause problem solving) with the ability to translate insights into concrete workflow changes
- Strong Excel Skills. SQL is a plus
- Experience with BI tools such as Tableau (or similar) for KPI monitoring and automation-ready reporting
- A systems mindset: comfortable implementing rules/workflows, testing changes, documenting decisions, and managing releases
- Excellent Communication skills in English and Spanish
