We are seeking a detail-oriented Regulatory Reporting (Finance) Officer with the ability to effectively prioritise and manage their responsibilities. This role aims to provide additional support to the growth of the Finance Team and the Bank.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation and submission of the monthly and quarterly regulatory returns to the MFSA and CBM in a timely manner
- Staying abreast of evolving regulatory reporting requirements, assessing impact, and implementing changes to ensure compliant and accurate reporting
- Drive enhancement of the regulatory reporting process, including the implementation of controls and automation
- Monitoring and tracking issues to ensure timely and appropriate resolutions are achieved
- Assistance with the preparation of the regulatory disclosures in the annual report
- Assistance with the preparation of Pillar III disclosures
- Liaising with team members to ensure financial reporting and decision support are consistent in all future regulatory applications
- Participation in internal and external audits
- Maintaining robust documentation associated with regulatory reporting
- Execution of ad hoc activities as required
Experience and Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year experience working in a regulated entity in a similar role
- Familiarity with COREP, FINREP, statistical reporting, and regulatory reporting software
- Knowledgeable of accounting principles and IFRS accounting standards
- Knowledgeable of MFSA banking rules, CRD, and CRR
- Qualification in banking, finance, or accounting
